Privacy policy
What is public, what is private, and why.
What is public
Names, lineage and family relationships are published, because that is what the archive is for: a shared record of how the family fits together.
What is never public
- Phone numbers
- Home and postal addresses
- Email addresses
- Records a family member has asked to keep hidden
- Voter roll numbers and individual ballot choices
- Any private note held for administrative purposes
Your choices
Any family member may ask for their record to be corrected, restricted or hidden from public view, and for their profile to be excluded from search engines.
Privacy is enforced by the archive's back end, not merely hidden in the page. Until
that back end is connected, no private field of any kind is published on this site,
because none is stored in it.
