Representing the family, mediating disputes within it, coordinating family matters, and holding the family's records and decisions in trust.

Term of office

The Head serves a fixed term, after which the office returns to the family through an election.

Succession

Where the office falls vacant, an acting Head serves until the family is able to elect a successor.
